CSA

dsc00549.jpg What’s a CSA, you may ask?  CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture” and is intended to help build relationships between the farmer and and the community that they are a part of.

Joining a CSA is a great opportunity to support local, sustainable agriculture.  You provide us with “up-front” money in the spring and we give you a share of the bounty, the value of which typically exceeds your initial investment.  For one price paid in the spring you’ll receive vegetables throughout the gardening season.

The CSA program will run from the last week of June to the second week of October, for a total of 16 weeks.  Each of the weekly offerings will reflect what is ready

and at its best in the garden that week.  In addition you’ll have picking privileges for free flowers and herbs.  Kids are welcome in the gardens and will want to see the chicks, pigs, and other livestock.
